FESTIVAL VIRUS EPIDEMIC
This virus infects almost all of Baden’s townsfolk every five years, and there’s only one proven therapy – to celebrate a ten-day festival like no other. Years that end in a 7 see a spectacular conclusion known as the Badenfahrt or Baden Ride. Since the citizens of Baden can’t wait another ten years for the next one, there is another festival finale in between that they just call the city festival.
You will find hundreds of thousands of guests at either festival; to celebrate them in style, the Baden townsfolk put up dozens of impromptu festival spots than can turn into real architectural works of art – places you won’t want to leave in festivals you’d wish could go on forever.
